Herbs are essential ingredients in the Armenia cuisine and home remedies. The HayBuis Festival, translated as “Armenian Herb,” celebrates these special ingredients and sharing the traditional recipes.

The Festival is held in one of the most breathtaking places in Armenia – the Apaga resort, located in Yenokavan, Tavush region, an area known for its picturesque mountainous nature. Visitors learn about Armenian herbs and different methods of using them, including their healing characteristics. Moreover, you’ll have a chance to take part in an herbal tea party, learn about forest biodiversity, attend master cooking classes and other fun, outdoor activities for children. The cherry on top is the famous 20-meter long lavash brduch (sandwich) that you can see and taste it only at The HayBuis Festival.
